The Children’s Metamorphasis Museum in Derry, NH will be hosting a fantasticly fun sign language program called, “Round up the Little Critters: It’s time to Sign!” Families and children of all ages will learn American Sign Language signs for animals of all kinds including farm, zoo, and backyard animals. Bring all your little critters on March 19th 6-7:30pm. Cost is only $8/family for members and $10/family for non-members. It’s a great deal and all proceeds go to support the museum. Our February Nini Bambini workshop was a fabulous success. It was wonderful to shop around at all the fantastic baby and mommy products available in the store. Our class had a fun time signing, singing and reading while learning dozens of new signs.

Introduction to Signing with your Baby or Toddler is now being offered at NiNi Bambini at 166 South River Rd in Bedford, NH. It is a fantastic new center for families looking for quality services for babies, children and beyond! Signs & Smiles will offer our first workshop at the center on February 20th from 6-8pm. Happy 2008! Signs & Smiles has had many great new opportunities come up recently. We are working with children from infants to teenagers and the adults that love them! The busiest time of the year is now upon us! With my daughter having a December birthday, my Christmas shopping never gets done early. It’s Thanksgiving preparation, then birthday party plans, then comes getting ready for the season. Hopefully this year we’ll get the decorations out early enough to enjoy them!

Signs & Smiles has had a busy October…Mary has been visiting our friends at the YMCA in Manchester every week. We have learned signs for Halloween, Fall, apples, pumpkins and more! Signs & Smiles presented Signs & Storytimes at the Atkinson Library and the Bedford Library with the Bedford Moms Club. Signs & Smiles was also up in the Lakes region to train Childcare providers in Laconia. Recently, we started working with a great group in Pembroke and Salem.
